In this latest Backcountry Bike Repair episode, Kait Boyle and Kurt Refsnider  walk through how to plug punctures and pinch flats that are too large to seal with sealant and how to install that tube that’s likely been riding around with you for the past year or two without immediately putting holes in it.

And in the next episode, they’ll demonstrate how to deal with more substantial tire woes.

Thanks to Wolf Tooth for supporting Kait and Kurt with this series!

At the valve: Simply unscrew the current valve insert and screw in the Schwalbe Clik Valve by hand, and the valve is ready.

On the pump: Simply integrate the adapter into the pump head (clamp or screw in). The pump is then ready to “Clik”.

It’s almost like gravel racing has become road racing. Or another question is, do you even need tread on a gravel racing tire? Let us know in the comments.
