If you have a vintage MTB or basket bike and are looking for a light ‘n’ supple, file tread center tire that excels for mixed terrain biking, and want a pop of color, then check out the SimWorks Homage tires in 26″. These Panaracer-made tires are back in stock in the classic bright green tread, or black tread gumwall if you’re seeking a sleeker look. Both colors are back in stock at SimWorks for $68.
Inspired by designs dating back to the 1930s and 1940s, the new SimWorks Short Fenders combine Honjo construction with a vintage sensibility. Used by road and ‘cross racers looking to protect their braking performance as well as cycling hunters who feared mud-clogged fenders, this truncated design is designed to keep mud away from your rim brake calipers and headset. They’re also ideal for bikes that might have to be transported on a bike rack on a car or public transit.
Available in silver or black and a variety of different widths and finishes, and in stock now at SimWorks.

SimWorks and MKS teamed up to develop the Bubbly pedals a few years ago. Now the Nagoya, Japan and Portland, Oregon based Sim Works has unveiled a limited run of olive drab cerakote pedals. Unlike anodizing, cerakote is a matte finish, which contrasts the steel pedal spindle body’s low-lustre quite nicely.

SimWorks USA just took a shipment of a unique run of pedals: black paint over brass. The intent behind this product launch is an homage to black paint Leica M cameras, which patina over time as the black paint rubs off the brass camera bodies. SimWorks’ delivery consists of Promenade, Sylvan Stream, and BM-7 pedals.
Each of these pedal models comes packed in a specially designed box inspired by the Leica M bayonet lens boxes. We just wanted to commend SimWorks on a lovely project that is full of exceptional photography and studies. Check out the full post on SimWorks’ Blog.
