Sim Works Still Cruisin’ Bar is a Bullmoose with Rise

Japanese company SimWorks just announced its all-new  Still Cruisin Bar. This bar is a new Nitto masterpiece, featuring a bullmoose design with sweep and a slight rise…

The original SimWorks Getaround CrMo Bar has a good vibration grip angle of 15°, but for bikes with a 72° head angle commonly found on single-speed, commuter, and touring bikes, this bar’s skilled welding techniques have achieved a simple and elegant connection, with the stem extending at a right angle from the fork column.

The extension is 85 mm, which is the result of aiming for the sweet spot of around 90mm for the Tomboy Stem. The bull-moose style, which allows you to grip the handlebars with two stems, also mitigates vibrations transmitted from the wheel, given the flex inherent to chromoly handlebars. When you’re climbing out of the saddle on single track or weaving your way through traffic jams, even when you grip the handlebars tightly, there’s minimal flex and no excessive rebound, providing intuitive control.

The manufacturing partner is of course NITTO, so you can be sure it’s crafted in Japan.
