Brother Cycles Teases its Pinecone 27.5 Vintage Inspired Rigid MTB

Inspired by vintage MTBs of the 1980s through the early aughts, Brother Cycles just announced its own take on these mixed terrain bicycles; the Pinecone. Designed for 27.5 wheels with tire clearance up to 2.6″ (potentially more at a squeeze) and can take both rim and disc brake. The thinking behind this is simple: the Pinecone would be able to run 27.5 wheels with rim brakes, be it cantilevers or v-brakes, or it could run 26″ through 700c wheels with disc brakes.

Brother Cycles has a full gallery and blog post about the Pinecone, so if you’re intrigued, roll on over to check it out.
