Last month, we broke the news that the brand was closing, and today, we’re elated to report that Revel Bikes was bought by its founder. This theme seems to be repeating itself as the industry resets from the Pandemic boom of 2021.
After selling Revel Bikes to investors in 2021 and fully stepping away in 2024, the founder, Adam Miller, bought back the Carbondale, Colorado-based company.
“Stoked to be back to bikes ❤️” is what Revel founder Adam Miller replied to a late text message last night when we reached out. Last week, Adam and John had a brief phone call. During which Adam stated his intention to buy back the company. After the sale was finalized yesterday, May 19th, 2025, Adam Miller is now the owner of Revel Bikes once again.
What this means for everything related to Revel Bikes is still uncertain, but the company is back in Adam’s hands. We can say for certain that both the titanium and the carbon models will be in the brand’s future.
We’ll post updates as events warrant. Read the brand’s statement.
