Pashley Debuts Wildfinder UK-Built Drop-Bar 29er

UK framebuilders Pashley just debuted its all-new drop-bar 29er Wildfinder platform. This all-new chassis is available as a rigid or hardtail build kit and is full of touring accoutrements. Let’s check it out…

Built from robust Reynolds 853 DZB, the Wildfinder is a legit drop-bar 29er. This boost-spaced bike has mountain bike DNA but with the option for flat bars or drop-bars for all day comfort and control.

Drop bars bring fast, purposeful energy, while a flat bar option leans further into its mountain bike soul for riders who prefer upright control. Either way, the confident geometry keeps you in control when the trail gets rough and the packs are heavy.

Wildfinder Drivetrain Options

SRAM Rival GX AXS Wireless ($5995) – clean, cable-free electronic shifting with a wide 12-speed range, crisp hydraulic braking, and full AXS app customisation. Fast, intuitive, and built for riders who hunger for cutting-edge precision.

Shimano GRX 820 Mechanical ($4495) – rugged, mud-ready shifting with gravel-tuned 12-speed gearing, SHADOW RD+ chain stability, and powerful hydraulic brakes. Simple, dependable, pure mechanical grit.

Shimano SLX M7100 Flat-Bar Mechanical ($4195) – upright control meets adventure-ready durability. With 12-speed Rapidfire PLUS shifting, clutch-secured chain retention, and hydraulic braking built for grime, it’s the toolkit for riders who want mountain-bike comfort on gravel’s wild side

Geometry

X-Small through X-Large sizing, constant seat tube angles, chainstay length, and plentiful stack height means there’s a Wildfinder frame size for every body.

Wildfinder Features

Reynolds 853 DZBSteel Frame

Hand-built from large-diameter, thin-wall, air-hardening Reynolds 853 for expedition-ready strength and that unmistakable ride feel only hand-crafted steel delivers, with DZB tubing adding extra thickness at the high-stress joints and shaving weight in the middle for the perfect balance of durability and efficiency.

Designed for Real-World Adventure

A tall stack height with reach optimised for the short stem and wider gravel bar allows for long distance comfort and control over technical terrain. A multitude of mounting points and generous framebag space enables a vast variety of luggage options.

Load-Ready frame

Combination of oversized seatube and downtube combine to give an efficient pedalling platform and a aid torsional stability even when fully laden

Dropper-Post Compatible

31.6mm seatpost with internal “stealth” routing for modern dropper post integration.

Robust Rear Triangle

Custom chromoly stays and bridge-less S-bend chainstays with fatigue-resistant gussets provide clearance, compliance, and long-term strength.

Space and speed

The 3D printed chainstay yoke provides ample clearance for a 29×2.4″ tyre even in the muddiest of conditions. It also allows chainring clearance up to 42T for those hunting an FKT
