After over ten years in Central Texas, Chumba is packing up its Austin, Texas-based production and moving, splitting the steel and titanium fabrication into two new home bases…

Chumba just announced that it’s moving on its website:

“While it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to ATX, sometimes life opens doors that take you back home.

In mid-July, Mark, Maura, and Austin will move back to Kansas City, where we will fabricate our titanium frames in our new shop just up the street from our friends at Cycle City!

Vince and Michelle have just moved back to Richmond, where we are excited to build our steel bikes at the Richmond Bicycle Factory alongside Stephen Wood and Wilson Hale.”
