This new color is inspired by the long history and cultural significance of its namesake. Jade has been valued across continents and eras as a symbol of craftsmanship and distinction, with cultures around the world using the gemstone to fabricate precious objects. This tie-in makes the color a natural fit in the Chris King color palette.

Jade is available now across headsets, hubs, bottom brackets, wheels, seatpost collars, and centerlock lockrings (excluding GripNut™ headsets). Components in Jade are carefully matched across product categories, like all their colors, ensuring a consistent look from headset to hub to bottom bracket to seat collar. Jade can be seen in person this week at the Made show in Portland, August 22–24 at the Zidell Yards. Chris King partnered with several attending builders, including Moots, Seven, Mosaic, Destroy, Mischief, Eyewater, and La Marche, to showcase this new color.

Additionally, King has collaborated with Block 15 Brewing to produce a limited-edition Jade Buzzworks West Coast IPA, which will be served at the show and available throughout Bloc 15’s distribution area this Fall. The beer is a blend of Simcoe, Citra, and Eclipse hops, bringing bright citrus and stone fruit notes, complemented by crisp malt to produce a top-tier WC IPA that hits just right after a hard ride.
