Silly Rabbit: A Bikepacking Search for the Jackalope

Silly Rabbit is a bikepacking film that follows two foolishly ambitious cyclists as they ride across the Sonoran Desert in search of the mystical and elusive Jackalope. The 17 minute film is silly, as the name implies, and it demonstrates the importance of dumb ideas in great adventures. This is also a bucket list project for Ben Kirby, as it is his first ever cycling film, and it even documents his first ever bike tour. The route covered primarily gravel roads from Tucson to Willcox to Bisbee. Riding and filming took place in December 2024.
