REMINDER! August Radavist Membership Giveaway: Basic Cycle Co Road Frame and Fork

Our feature on Basic Cycle Co’s Road Bike is one of the highest clicked Radar articles of the year! Because of your interest, the Tacoma, Washington-based builder wanted to offer one lucky Radavist Membership subscriber a Basic frame in their size and fork in Cerakote black!

Each Basic Cycle Co Road frame features a BSA threaded bottom bracket, 1-1/8” headset, 27.2mm seat post, mechanical cable stops, and a 132.5mm rear hub spacing that accommodates a wide range of road, cyclocross, or classic MTB hubs. Basic hopes riders will mix the old and new—combining beloved, functional parts with thoughtful modern touches to build something uniquely their own.

The brand’s frames are built in the USA of Columbus Life and Zona tubing; paired with a Whisky RD+ carbon fork and designed for mid-reach brakes means accommodation of up to 35c tires, or up to 28c with fenders. The result is a lightweight setup ready to handle any “road” you find.
